Remote Stokes Bay Beach on Kangaroo Island in South Australia has been crowned Australia’s best ‘hidden gem’ – with 10.43 per cent of all reviews dubbing the destination a local wonder in a study by tour operator and software provider Bókun.
Bókun examined more than 1,000 local destinations using Tripadvisor reviews containing the phrase ‘hidden gem’. This analysis reveals the best places to travel worldwide, according to real consumers.
